Pascuales’ Farm
We are a family-operated urban farm located on the vibrant northeast side of Charlotte-Mecklenburg. Driven by a deep passion for growing healthy, sustainable food, we are equally dedicated to fostering meaningful connections and serving our diverse community.
Our mission is to provide access to fresh, locally and responsibly grown produce while creating welcoming spaces where people can gather, learn, and create lasting memories.
At the heart of everything we do are our core principles: responsibility, sustainability, connectivity, hope, and innovation. Together, these values inspire us to cultivate not only the land but also relationships, opportunities, and a brighter future for all.
The Story of Pascuales Farm
The roots of Pascuales Farm trace back to the Dominican Republic, where Eliseo Pascual’s passion for agriculture began in his teenage years. In the 1980s, he pursued formal training as an agricultural engineer, managing a farm and honing sustainable practices that would later shape Pascuales Farm.
After relocating to Charlotte in 2001, Eliseo noticed a lack of locally grown, fresh produce. Most vegetables were transported from distant states or countries, sparking his vision for sustainable, local agriculture. In 2015, Eliseo and his wife Wendy operated a greenhouse on a church campus.
Though the project faced challenges, it strengthened their dream of creating a community- focused farm.In 2018, the Pascual family purchased a five-acre property in Mecklenburg County, marking thebeginning of Pascuales Farm.

Building the Foundation (2018–2020)
The family cleared land, built access roads, and laid the groundwork for sustainable farming. These efforts set the stage for future expansion.

Infrastructure and Expansion (2021–2022)
Key developments included a high tunnel, greenhouse, 40 raised beds, a well, an irrigation system, and a chicken coop. They also acquired equipment to streamline operations.

Growth and Innovation (2023–Present)
The farm began full-scale operations, cultivating crops like tomatoes, bell peppers, ginger, and eggplants. The greenhouse produced high-quality vegetables, while partnerships with Freshlist, Buld, and the Rosa Parks Farmers Market brought fresh produce to the community.
